Lets start from the beginning. Kyle wanted to ditch the SV650 he has been riding in favor of something older & simpler, & something he could hack up & be happy with.
Here it is as we got it, ugly. A bit of tinkering & it ran great, but had a few issues with hobbled electrics.
Here is the effect Kyle has on me.
Heres the bike stripped about as far as it can be, then some. It already is about 12,000 percent coooler.
After playing musical gas tanks, we settled on this no brainer from Racecar Robbie, Thank you Robbie.
We need to remove the factory neck gussets & add a single tube back bone & remake the gussets. Tank will go about another 1" forward.
For giggles he threw on this BSA 441 seat. Amazing really. Its not staying, he will make a cafe kinda seat The will house electrics in the tail.. Going for a tracker, dirtbike, cafe sort of bike here....with 4 cylinders.....and shaft drive.
Some low bars......
After a couple nights into the bike & it about building itself, Kyle told me
" This is easy, whys it take you so long?" Haha ha ha ha ahhhh.
Kyle do the dishes..
