Some more on Tesla....we have a gas cap.

I was trying to decide what to do for a gas cap & found my answer. I got the tank & tail skinned all the way, seat area is next.

Long night tonite. I played with what I think will be the gas cap and then started on the left side of the tail. I really wanted to finish the tank, but thoght it would be neat to have a couple pictures of the body done on one side, & still frame on the other side. Tesla Two Face.

Lowside Party. (East Coast Secret Society)

Cb Matt from Draft rode his 10 feet of Girdered CB 750 out to the Lowside Party near Baltimore.
I think Rich was figuring "some" people would come. I think he's was in the few hundered range by mid day, excellent.

Mr Boo! Mr Boo! That is one Purdy gas tank. It must sparkle in the sun. Rest of the bike is nice too, But this week is about pretty gas tanks.

I also found excellent Pictures by Q-ball, he is good. Lots of great bikes & People pics there.

Its funny how the west coast parties have pics everywhere on the web, but the East Coast people have the same or better stuff going on, but you have to poke around to find it a bit ,more.

Pinstripe Chris's Sharpie Fiero

My buddy Pinstripe Chris has been doing Sharpie art on his Fiero for a few weeks on & off. It will be spectacular when its done, it already draws a crowd....anywhere. It was beautiful Black with real fire on the front, then he painted it flat white, it was pretty funny, people thought he was nuts. Now they get it.

Even at night in the drizzle, my nizzle is out doing his thing. because, you know, .....he's nuts.

I got the bars, levers, & risers done. The inverted levers are something Im going to be tinkering on later to market maybe, we'll see.

Worked a bit more on the exhaust , bringing it forward a bit more. Waiting on some J bends to finish it From motor back, should be neato.

Its time to skin this baby & move forward.

Rain, Mud, Wind, Gravel & my Faithful GS1000

I love my 79 GS1000. It is my Faithful go anywhere, anytime Bike. Yesterday we had 3 inches of rain in 1/2 hour, & then the same thing last night (with 65mph winds).

On the ride to work yesterday, some of the bends in the road had piles of gravel, some had mud that gathered across the road, downed power lines, trees, a million branches & limbs...It was a sureal ride to work, almost like a video game. I left work at 11:00 after the night storm had passed, same thing as morning ride, but in the dark. Hit a foot deep 50 yard long puddle an about pee'd myself, not that it would have mattered since I was sopping wet.

These are the days Im soooo glad I put Dual sport all terrian tires on the 1000 :-)

Saturday, a good day

Last night & today & tonite I got pretty far on the skeleton for Tesla. Pretty soon I can start to give it some skin. I have really grown attach to it with out sheet metal, itll be hard to cover it up.

People have started to call me crazy, I must be doing it right. Itll all make sense soon enough.

I should have been at the Lowside party today, & fixing a boat for a friend in my driveway, but I was rolling & couldnt stopped.

With his now roller cheapo build project. I had been dying to see his Girder that he made from scratch. It is so sexy. Even has air ride.

Im now in line for one. And Im going to butt to the front.

After reading about Tesla I was in aw. I knew he did neat stuff, but

had no idea what he had done, wow. Take a minute & read this page, all of it.

What a smart man, 100 years ahead of the world.

Cami update....

Cami is still dead, ........as far as I know. (Im almost certian she sprung to life before they had a chance to test her body for rabbies, & started a revolt in the van)

My Daughter, who got the last "zing" from Cami in the form of the love bite while we were taking her to the Vet, is OK. The 4 putures where an inch deep each & went thru the tendones & muscle in her wrist. She will live, but not without a Cami reminder for a few weeks, & 2 sewts of cool Vampire scars (Vampire stuff is in this year, so umm....thats cool n stuff), & Im dealing with Animal control & things.

So even after Cami's gone, which again, I cant swallow, she is being a PIA.
