Calculations from Matts big Brain.

The next bike will take a tad more thought then past bikes. This is where Matt from Draft Cycle Work comes in. He has joined with me to help with things I fall short on. Here is what has been figured out thus far for the next bike. It should, "should", hit 200mph in 35 seconds.

The wives all are not liking this. But if we succeed we will get a cool 200mph club teeshirt :-)

Tesla gets new tread.

I really really thought the rear tire wouldnt fit on the chain side, but it did perfect, thank you Matt.
I really really thought the front tire wouldnt fit between the fork tubes, but barely did, sweet.
They look perfect.

Made a headlight shield , attempt # 3. Need to skin the fairing soon.

Kyles Seca

The Seca 750 is now a Yamaha Kawasaki 750 360 in the name of staying on the cheap & creative..

More Murdock

Matt asked what he is. Murdock is a Hairy hairless Chinese crested. They have hair on their heads, tail, & legs, their body is hairless. I put the lotion on the skin, daily and sunblock on when he's out in strong sun. Its like having another baby.

Bo, the Husky has taken to him, they play great..
Roxy, the Aussie, is slowly, little by little not trying to kill it as much each day..

A ride on Grace

Saving Grace was a bike I built last year that I loved. 45 degrees of rake, car tires, .120 wall 2" long pipes & other abnormalities.
Heres a video I put up for fun of one of the first rides.

Kyles Seca , part 2

The last couple weeks I have been under the weather a bit, so Matt from Draft & Kyle my son have been making use of the garage while I sat in my chair & made fun. Matt encouraged Kyle a bit, & Kyle decided it was time to pull in the Seca 750 & do it to it.

Lets start from the beginning. Kyle wanted to ditch the SV650 he has been riding in favor of something older & simpler, & something he could hack up & be happy with.

Here it is as we got it, ugly. A bit of tinkering & it ran great, but had a few issues with hobbled electrics.

Here is the effect Kyle has on me.

Heres the bike stripped about as far as it can be, then some. It already is about 12,000 percent coooler.

After playing musical gas tanks, we settled on this no brainer from Racecar Robbie, Thank you Robbie.
We need to remove the factory neck gussets & add a single tube back bone & remake the gussets. Tank will go about another 1" forward.

For giggles he threw on this BSA 441 seat. Amazing really. Its not staying, he will make a cafe kinda seat The will house electrics in the tail.. Going for a tracker, dirtbike, cafe sort of  bike here....with 4 cylinders.....and shaft drive.

Some low bars......

After a couple nights into the bike & it about building itself, Kyle told me
" This is easy, whys it take you so long?" Haha ha ha ha ahhhh.

Kyle do the dishes..

Kyles Seca 750

The time has come. Kyle, my son, will be building his first bike. We need to make a bit more space for him, not shoved it the corner, maybe with some light. :-) It will be a cafe, or a bobber, or a dragbike........we have no idea what it will be, but it will be his daily rider when the SV is gone.

Kyle trying to figure out how to remove the airbox.

Me trying to remove the airbox.

The answer was Matt kicking the airbox Kung Fu style.

Draft Matts CB. Exhaust time.

First Matt wanted long exhaust.

Then he wanted super short.

So.......it will be somewhere between, super long & super short.

FIRE! FIRE!

As wintertime comes, hand warmers are needed.
Tesla, & Matts CB are the test subjects for the new system.
